THE STORY OF THE GOLDEN APPLE
THE GOLDEN APPLE’s story began years before its establishment, when, as far back as 1995, a curiosity item – a package of AFA – entered the home of a Bulgarian family. Thanks to the Microalgae, all family members got energized and invigorated and relieved several health problems. Then a dream was born. The dream of a Bulgarian company that produces exceptional algae-based food supplements.
So we founded THE GOLDEN APPLE as a small family business. In mid-2003 we marketed our first product – PERUN. In the first years THE GOLDEN APPLE distributed their products through network marketing with over 3000 active distributors. Today, we work directly with our satisfied customers in Bulgaria and distribute our products in France, USA, the Caribbean, South Korea, and until recently – Ukraine. We have participated in international exhibitions in France, Sweden, Qatar, Martinique, Guadeloupe and others.
We currently produce 13 unique products. They contain premium quality organic microalgae – AFA, Chlorella pyrenoidosa, Spirulina platensis, Dunaliela salina and Hematokokus pluvialis; probiotics; digestive enzymes; chokeberry and green tea. All our products are winners of the “Golden Lion” award for 2009 by the “Made in Bulgaria Union”. We are especially proud of our GoldenStemPower product with a patented formula to stimulate stem cell proliferation. It was awarded the first prize in the dietary supplement category of “Choose Bulgarian” for 2010.
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce ranked THE GOLDEN APPLE among the top 100 Bulgarian companies for 2013 and 2014.
